Hollow Eyes
Eyes that have seen my soul break into a million pieces,
Eyes that have stood staring at reflections for ours upon hours,
Eyes that have pointed out every spot that is not perfect.
Eyes that have seen who you really are.

Lips that have spoken words i do not understand,
Lips that have whispered silent goodbyes in my dreams,
Lips that have bled without leaving a scar,
Lips that have been ripped apart by warm tears.

Hands that have held my head for so long.
Hands that scratch skin to feel again.
Hands that have slammed against walls again and again.
Hands that have protected, not enough this time.

Ears that have heard all of your lie
Nothing Girl
She runs, feet pounding the ground.
She counts her laps 10,11,12,
the numbers echo in her head.
Brushing off the rude comments and dirty stares,
she keeps running.
Her feet are getting weary and tired.
She closes her eyes, imagines she is someplace else.
Before she realizes she's walking.
How many laps has it been, 25 already?
she can't remember.
She mutters sorry to those that hit her,
they should be the ones apologizing.
She hits the bench, can she still feel the pain?
the whistle is blown, why is she still walking?
she hits her leg again, this time
she falls.
no one notices,
no one ever notices.
